Pros
People are great for the most part. Some jockeying for position at the top, which detracts from the ability to do our jobs. But overall most people are in it for the right reasons.
Cons
The USAID closure has led to a massive downsizing in the company, with the loss of many old guard. This has led to a restructure, and whilst we are in the early days, currently the bumpy transition owes itself - at least in part - to politics within the organisation. Frustrating to see this and be affected by it. I'd say for most staff, questionable in terms of LT career opportunities, particularly for those at the entry levels and one above. Hopefully the good instincts of the good people (mostly in the US) will prevail, and that will lead (back?) to a happier company.
