Pros
Overall a good company to work for regardless of the location or department you chose. DAF's European coverage and it's parent companies global coverage means that your only boundary are the languages you speak and the time you're willing to travel. DAF management structure is fairly flat and open and the company communication culture is also rather direct and to the point; which can be a big breath of fresh air if you've come from a beat-around-the-bush communication culture. All in all, DAF has become the market leader in the largest HCV segment in Europe and on the way to becoming the market leader throughout.. not so long ago, DAF was the tiny under-dog. This achievement is not just a coincidence; if you're smart and like the thrill of the fight, you will like this place.
Cons
Has it's share of big company syndrome, and not as technologically advanced in day-to-day operations as we like to think. Having said that the rate of improvement on these fronts is gaining more and more momentum.
