Pros
Fellow colleagues are amazing. Good snacks. Some fun activities are held in office throughout the year.
Cons
It's a long list, but the short version is this: give serious thought to whether this is the right organization for you.
From my perspective, the company has been in a prolonged period of decline. Over the past several years it has experienced significant client attrition, a steady exodus of talented employees, and an organizational structure that has become increasingly top-heavy. Leadership, in my experience, tends toward a highly centralized, command-and-control style, leaving relatively little room for autonomy or dissent. A real culture of fear.
Perhaps most disappointing is what feels like the erosion of the organization's culture. The entrepreneurial energy, sense of purpose, and genuine camaraderie that once distinguished the company have gradually dissipated. The soul of the organization seems to have been sacrificed for over reliance on process.
Ultimately, only you can decide whether it's the right fit, but I would encourage you to go in with your eyes wide open.
