Pros
There are some really smart people and the technology (mostly) works.
Cons
Their company motto should be “let’s hire good people, and then tell them exactly what to do.” The leadership claims to only want to hire “A” players, and then turn on them when they realize that they quickly see through their nonsense and lack of maturity and general business acumen. The "churn-and-burn", and "hire-and-fire" mentality globally hasn’t worked. How can you have an average sales cycle of 8-9 months and give sales reps 6 months to be successful, especially with no ramp or draw? This is math and common sense. If you are looking at joining as a seller, don’t. Nobody is hitting their quotas. The employee turnover is astounding. They are now having to recruit into the US market with 3rd party recruiters from Canada and LATAM. Competitors are reaching out to the few remaining good people here with offers to "rescue them from Cymulate". They are also reporting deals closed to their board and investors, which in fact, have not (as mentioned in earlier reviews). Customer churn is also through the roof. Most sales people are not compensated on renewals so they have zero incentive to help fix this. The Customer Success team has tried but largely gets overruled and walked all over by the leadership team. The overall perception of the company externally is poor, regardless of the fake Glassdoor reviews marketing tried to add in October 2025 to try to boost their rating. Steer clear of Cymulate unless you really enjoy a leadership team skilled in psychological warfare and coworkers forced to excel at trauma bonding.
