Pros
- On my project we were paid for every hour which was a plus given that we worked 40+ hours most weeks. - WFH is an option for most projects.
Cons
- Salaries for the new guys were low and not in line with our area. - Realignment of the holiday schedule especially right before the 4th of July was something unprecedented. -2 weeks vacation is not realistic; new grads are getting 3 weeks at other firms in town. - Penalizing people's efficiency for taking time off yet not giving them credit for working more than 40 hours is an unfair weighting system. - The 401k match is low and not consistent across the team. - Health benefits are okay but you need to make sure to put aside enough in your HSA to cover the deductibles. - No assistance for WFH (internet, utilities, etc.).
