The only pro I had to this company was the fact that I was offered more hours on my contract to what they offered me.
Cons
Where do I start Training - good place to be trained, no preparation whatsoever for a real sales environment. Trained to perform the perfect sale, not to deal with any problems. System also runs perfectly at the training centre, doesn't not in any store. Also have not received my expenses for training yet 4 months later. Store - The store I worked in was full of lovely people and I enjoyed most of my time there. My managers were top class and helped me through a lot. Their managers however, were very unhelpful contradicting multiple things that they set out to our managers, thus relayed down to us. Probation - I just finished probation and the targets were unacceptable. You are not allowed to have a dodgy day or be above average, you have to be excellent which is hard for someone coming into sales for the first time. Pay - Told I would get 7.22 an hour, have been paidyed 6.85 an hour. Breach of contract and illegal. They also have still not read my P45 from my last job thus not updating my tax code and being emergency taxed for the entire time I have been there. Have called to rectify this and they still haven't done anything. IT - The second you come in contact with IT in store there is nothing you can do leading you to be disappointed in not being able to do anything for your customer and therefore losing a sale. The company need to sort their it department out as they are all rude and useless. When talking to a customer they patronise them and talk down to them making the issue sound like the colleagues fault, when we both know that the issue is a system error.
