Pros
Curo is often good if you want to gain a fairly wide range of experience in the IT industry. Also good for those wanting to change career and have little IT knowledge.
Cons
There is not enough staff for the amount of clients/tickets/calls that are received, this makes it a high pressure environment to work in when clients are constantly calling and complaining why they have yet to have a response.
There are some poor practises used, if improved could make things much better all round.
The “very satisfied” rated review on here looks to have been written by one of the directors which is poor, don’t try and cover up what is the reality.
While not experienced myself I am aware of other staff that have handed in there notice to be threatened/scared by the directors so they don’t leave.
Although it is a good place to learn, you have to be willing to do a lot of learning yourself as you are thrown in the deep end, while this was fine for me this does not suit everyone’s learning, and therefore when hiring staff that have little or no IT experience can therefore make things worse for other staff.
The main owner/director is rarely in the office and in reality doesn’t know what is going on inside the company. Problems or issues that get brushed under the carpet are hidden from him.
