Pros

Most of the people that I worked with on a daily basis were good people. I enjoyed my interactions with them and they were intelligent and excellent communicators.

Cons

There are a lot of things that I could say regarding the negative things that happened during my employment... I will keep my list short. - The executive team lacks direction, yet wants to be involved in every facet of the company, not allowing teams to move forward without their specific approval and guidance. - There is a serious lack of trust and autonomy. - Micromanagement in more than 1 area. - A commitment to diversity and inclusion that is just for show. It is shallow, meaningless, and surface level. Some of the phrases, words, and accusations of discrimination within these virtual walls were appalling. - Preaches flexibility and falls very short. This is a typical start up grind and you are expected to be on 24/7. - The benefits are lackluster to say the least. Medical is abysmal, and 401k is non-existent. There is the option of having some company stock, but there is little information provided about this and you have no idea what it is/could be worth due to an absence of transparency. - Communication within the company can be difficult to navigate. Executives and Management want to know what you are doing at all times (daily company wide meetings), and while there is an abundance of communication, there is also information withheld at various levels. The company lacks a framework for 1:1s, mentoring/coaching, identifying potential and opportunities to improve and grow your career. - To the above point, multiple employees were terminated within my time at CureMint, and these all felt out of left field. People didn't know they were in a bad position, didn't know that they needed to improve, and weren't given helpful feedback and the opportunity to do better.

Pros

The opportunity for growth is incredible. I have spent years at corporate companies who spend millions trying to create the environment that CureMint has. The real difference is they spent time building it instead of money trying to buy it. The accountability is there. You never have to wonder if you're doing a good job. If you are, everyone will take the time to tell you and if you're not, you are given the feedback and opportunity to improve.

Cons

It is a fast paced, start up environment. What you do matters. Start ups are not for everyone but if you love that environment, it's everything you hope for.
