Pros

* Well-known consultancy with a strong external brand * Some technically interesting work, depending on team

Cons

I worked at Cundall’s London office and it was a deeply negative experience. Much of the team had already left before I joined, which was not disclosed during the hiring process. The team I was in appeared to be in a desperate recruitment phase, bringing in a number of new hires with little structure. This led to confusion, internal politics, and newly hired senior staff jockeying for power rather than working collaboratively. The culture is toxic and driven by blame and finger-pointing. Management micromanages extensively, junior staff are treated like children, and there is little trust or psychological safety. Partners appear largely absent from setting clear direction or taking ownership, which results in a lack of leadership and accountability throughout the team. Cundall is very effective at promoting a glossy, values-led image on LinkedIn, but the internal reality is very different. I regretted joining within two weeks. I would not recommend this company to others.

Pros

Great support team and I was always busy with tasks to complete

Cons

Due to the variety of different projects each for a short amount of time, getting to know people well was difficult!
