Pros
Not just translation, but true transcreation. At the intersection of culture and media content. Projects themselves are super interesting. Our work has high visibility. Coworkers are super talented and the majority have significant backgrounds in entertainment industry. Many are fully bilingual. Everyone on the team is willing to help and answer questions.
Cons
The workload is heavy at times and tasks can be complicated, but it makes the job more rewarding. If something is not done to standard, expect to get feedback. Not for people who can't take feedback.
