Pros

really, none. Most mind numbing job I’ve ever had the misfortune of working.

Cons

with the working conditions being less than safe or sanitary (and this is speaking as a sanitation worker), you can guess that either the employees or management does not care enough to keep the store in good shape. Along with that, the constant harassment and disgusting behavior I personally faced coming from my coworkers was abysmal. Management did nothing to help me, simply saying that there wasn’t anything they could do and that I should just deal with it. How could I? I was forced to interact with them. The uniform was uncomfortable, and the heat and humidity made me nearly pass out from exhaustion multiple times. This would be more bearable if pay was better, and they allowed drinks, right? I wouldn’t know. They didn’t do either. I would pay for drinks to keep in the back while I worked (I took medication that caused me to become dehydrated, and management knew this) and I had to watch as my manager would throw them out in front of me. Awful experience, awful store. you can find anything in there cheaper online.

Pros

- busy, engaging job, good for ADHD - union, dictates minimum hrs for part and full time team members, wage and raises, breaks, what mgmt can do in regard to changing your schedule on a whim

Cons

- outdated processes - focused on bottom line over patient care -corporate stingy with hours, management unaware of union contract requirements
