Location can be far depending on where you’re living

Your fellow designers will be diverse, talented, and welcoming (otherwise they won't be there for long). You'll be expected to work hard under sometimes aggressive deadlines, but you'll be proud of what is produced (much of the work I created while at creme is still my favorite). If you're in it for the design, this could be the place for you. If you need to be coddled daily, try somewhere else.

I worked at crème full-time in their beginning years (2007-2009) and again over the last 3 years on a freelance basis. I like the founder, Jun, very much but felt he was often spread way too thin. This lead to frustrations that in reflection are pretty common in a growing business. I will say, though, that there is now a bigger management team (both creative and general business) in place that has things running more smoothly and prepped for further growth.
