Pros

You are in the community and out of the office setting.

Cons

Overworked — given the constant provider turnover you are asked to cover a very large caseload and geography. Poor quality care — since you have such a big caseload the care you can provide is low quality and borderline unsafe. Upper management doesn’t listen — there is terrible communication between the providers on the ground level and the upper management at Concerto. They are detached and do not understand the challenges that face the clinicians each day.

Pros

Flexible schedule, lots of time to complete administrative tasks . Love the new Hybrid Primary Care role. The mission to serve vulnerable patients is exactly what I want to do.

Cons

If you don’t like driving that would be a negative. You’re autonomous most the time so if you need a lot of people.

Pros

I am an ARNP (full-time) at this company. I was hired last year after an interview while visiting from Georgia. I moved to Washington with my husband to take this position. I was also 20 weeks pregnant and the CEO was willing to place the position on hold for me due to fitting the job so well. So far I have truly enjoyed working with the team at Crown Health, who have been very supportive and friendly with me. Some of the pros include the following: - Family-like atmosphere - Autonomy to complete work on your own schedule at your own pace from your office at home - Other clinicians being available to discuss issues/concerns - Serving a population that would otherwise have lack of ability to receive healthcare - Good work/life balance - Good salary with growing list of benefits - CEO and clinical manager who listen to concerns and promptly address

Cons

- Driving to multiple locations each month (if you don't like driving) - Lack of daily interaction with other people face-to-face - Charting and paperwork can quickly build up if not autonomous and self-driven
