Cons
Roles outside of engineering can be extremely slippery, changing from week to week. Expectations are sky-high, and sometimes it can feel like you're being thrown to the sharks and expected to not only swim among them, but befriend them. Harsh in this day and age of corporate coddling, but if the opportunity in the spirit it is given, can lead to explosive personal and professional growth. Communication can be difficult as we move very fast, but it is improving.
