Pros

Amazing office and some solid perks. The engineering team is really invested and works to really be a resource for other teams.

Cons

Unless you're in with the upper management, your voice will get pushed to the side. Poor work/life balance but that seems to be the trend in the bay area.

Pros

Great benefits, weekly lunches, amazing office and location

Cons

When I joined this company, I was told that women were invited to collaborate and voice their opinions. I quickly found out that it wasn't true. After a few times of offering insights at meetings, my superiors began bullying me and I was removed from meeting invites. I was routinely being gas-lighted by my manager and another superior who literally told me to downplay my work experience and to under-perform my responsibilities because I was making them look bad. My performance reviews turned into opportunities for my manager to berate me and tell me that work here didn't need to be good and that the reason they were at that company was because of their ego. I also have never encountered a company with such flagrant favoritism. One of my team members was a childhood friend of my manager, and constantly made mistakes that made it difficult for myself and others to do their job. My manager would flamboyantly praise them and to hide the tracks, would every week be constantly modifying the kind of work assigned to them which made our pipeline extremely confusing and inefficient. As you could imagine, it's impossible to function in this kind of setup. I was fired without warning one morning and that was it. I never thought I would end up at a company like this or that such a work culture existed. From now on, I'll do more research on the staff before accepting a job offer.
