Unclear Career Path - Anonymous employee Cricut Employee Review

Company does not focus enough on the employees. For a company that strives on culture and values, I personally could not tell you what the culture is supposed to be? I feel as though I am all alone to defend my self and work tirelessly and not get recognition. As an employee we should get recognition and better opportunities to better ourselves and the company. There is almost no chance in career advancement unless you are close with upper management and they know your name. There are almost zero chances of getting a raise, performance reviews do not happen when they should. Every department is overloaded with work and a majority of the time the right priorities are not set. Important details are not communicated or they left out so reworking projects or requests if common. I am confused as though what my part in the company is? As a employee I want to have a successful career with Cricut, but do not know how to do that when I am left with no new opportunities or leadership to point me in the right direction.
