Pros

They paid pretty well. Little did I know my predecessor turned them into labor and industries for improper practices. Like using very toxic materials in a building without proper ventilation. Meaning no spray booth.

Cons

Not sure who my supervisor was. I couldn't get any communication from the people who were supposed to be my directors. It turns out everyone answers to the owners notorious partner.

Pros

Never bored! Fun team of genuinely nice people. Okay salary. Flexible with my learning curve and time-off requests.

Cons

Probably shouldn't be complaining about this but the free snacks were making me fat. I also wish they had better retirement benefits.

Pros

Very flexible with your schedule. Pleasant coworkers and always helpful. Getting to see your hard work become a tangible thing. Reasonable people that will listen to your concerns. Pto was lenient if you submit your request far enough in advance. Will need to do some overtime but not excessively.

Cons

Disorganized. Severely understaffed/over bid projects. A ratio of 5:2 projects managers to drafters. There's a lot of work but no one to draw it for the clients. Pay is lower than average for the area and for experience level. I was started barely above the minimum wage with a 4 year degree in the field. Turnover is somewhat high. I've been around the longest out of almost everyone in the office. I've seen 2 project managers and 2 drafters come and go within weeks of being hired. People that work hard are paid low and quit or get let go, yet people that cause issues in the workplace are allowed to stay. In my field there's not really a way to move up.
