Pros
One of the biggest advantages of working here is the flexibility in scheduling and time off, which makes maintaining a work-life balance much easier. The work environment is friendly and supportive, and there are plenty of opportunities for growth within the company. The hybrid work model is also a great perk, allowing employees to work remotely when needed while still having the option to come into the office. When working in the office, employees are treated well with complimentary drinks and snacks to help keep morale and productivity high. Not many companies will do this for their employees, so it is one thing I am quite appreciative of. The benefits offered are solid, and I genuinely enjoy working with my colleagues, which makes the day-to-day experience more enjoyable.
Cons
One downside is the office location—it can be a bit challenging to get to since it's downtown. Additionally, staffing has been an ongoing issue due to layoffs and employees leaving, which has led to a shortage in certain roles. This results in many employees taking on multiple responsibilities, sometimes beyond their original job scope. Another concern is the lack of cross-training among employees. Often, only one person is fully trained on a particular task, and when that person leaves, it creates a gap that causes confusion and inefficiencies until a replacement is trained. This could be improved to ensure better knowledge-sharing and continuity.
