Pros
Friendly Staff. Building is in brand-new condition. On-site work-out room. One hour lunch. Located right next to the Kroger, great for after-work shopping. Several lunch options available in the area.
Cons
The 'good' health insurance plan is extremely expensive. I can get a better health insurance plan on the public exchange for less money. The health insurance is about 33% of my gross annual income. A single person can expect to pay almost $150 per pay check with an approximate $5,000 out of pocket maximum. A family can expect to pay about $600 a pay check, with an approximate $10,000 out of pocket maximum. Two cheaper health insurance options are available, but they are not worth the money and the coverage is HORRIBLE. The 401K match is 50 cents on the employees dollar - so not good, this is a very poor match. They do NOT have Christmas bonuses, but they do offer a Christmas "Club" savings plan, that the employee pays. This site is open 24 hours. You may have a third shift or second shift job. The facility will NOT close for bad weather. You may have to sleep on-site during bad weather. They are NOT flexible about missing work due to weather. Most of the staff are very young and inexperienced. I'm estimating the average worker is 25 years old. You have to pay $5 a pay check if you want to drink the office coffee, soda, or hot chocolate.
