Pros

Opportunity to grow and advance if you are willing to step up and take initiative.

Cons

Very poor communication and leadership by owners. Staff turnover is high, most people are gone in less than a year. If you are looking to use this as a stepping stone to get a position at another company it may work for you. The owners' focus/priority often is not the company. Company resources are used for the owners' personal projects (religious and political) at the expense of the paying clients' projects.

Pros

-Opportunities to use and develop skills -The company does host holiday parties and tries to make employees feel appreciated on their birthdays, but there's room for improvement in the overall culture. -The AP + Receivable and office managers here are very friendly and are nice people here that try to make you as comfortable as possible -The president is generally affable but can have his moments.

Cons

-Highly conservative and religious environment. -Lack of diversity in the small team (could be contributed to talent pool, who knows). -Potential for discomfort or hostility if beliefs don't align (you might be baited & scrutinized, I was baited then screamed at for an opposing view though want to say I did eventually get an apology during my exit interview which I could appreciate). -Had to endure a microaggression although it may just be contributed to ignorance. (being called articulate as the only young Black woman in the workplace is not the compliment one thinks it is).
