Pros
Most colleagues were friendly and enjoyable to work with. The founder Alex was great too.
Cons
Workload is consistently high, with limited time or structured guidance to complete tasks effectively. Requirements also change last minute. The company lacks mature data processes and robust data infrastructure. For example, data analysts have no SQL Server access, yet are expected to deliver large, complex dashboards quickly. Documentation is also non existent. There is an overreliance on AI tools. There are significant data governance issues due to limited understanding of how these tools operate, and outputs are not always properly reviewed or validated. Management structure needs improvement. New starters receive little to no onboarding, documentation, or training (particularly in data roles). This results in avoidable confusion later when processes and expectations haven’t been clearly communicated. Management can be difficult to reach for support, likely due to their own heavy workload. Job description was also not accurate to what the job turned out to be. I would not recommend this environment for data analysts early on in their careers. The technical expectations are moderate, but the stakeholder management demands are extremely high. The role is a senior-level position without the senior level compensation or support. Career growth as a data analyst is also extremely limited as core tech skills aren't used.
