Serving IT project here for 1 year. The IT team is chill and understanding and get the work done. The hectic time is seasonal but not as bad as typical corporate hectic. Good Flexibility. Learned a lot on how govt works.
Cons
No major cons - Most staffs are contract but understandable because govt agency depending on govt money. Renewable if you do a good job.
There are some politics but as an IT guy you probably wont bother about it.
