Pros

No current pros. Before the merger at least we had work

Cons

The company has lost numerous clients during and after the merger and subsequently work is way down as are revenues. Management is banking on "new clients" that are alleged to be coming on. All the while they are attempting to hire more people when the work is not there for them, The current Billing Efficiency program they instituted recently is basically a way for the company to reduce field investigator hourly pay company wide. They are owned by a UK holding company and with revenues WAY down investors are not happy.

CoventBridge Group appreciates thoughtful feedback. To address your review, numerous clients have either increased, or committed to, new programs with CoventBridge over the past few months, and with that, we are proactive in hiring additional staff to meet our clients’ needs. We take a targeted approach to adding staff, so assignments are more balanced for our investigators, rather than over utilizing some and underutilizing others. The production Compensation Incentive Plan indeed provides financial incentives for investigators to achieve bonuses related to their efficiency and many have enjoyed those rewards. Safeguards are built into the program to ensure efficiency is tracked fairly and accurately, and the vast majority of investigators achieve the minimum target levels. Efficiency and productivity are key drivers for strong financial performance, which funds growth through future investment in our people and other capital projects. We welcome feedback, but strongly prefer to receive it through one of many methods available to all our staff. If necessary, employees can anonymously submit feedback, concerns or new ideas to better our organization. The link to the intranet can be found in the monthly employee newsletter, or you can reach out to Employeeappreciation@coventbridge.com for more details. Thank you, Doug Merriman, Chief Operating officer

In the investigator industry, the volume and type of work can vary due to factors outside of our control, such as client needs, case locations, and seasonal demand. While we cannot eliminate these fluctuations, we are committed to doing everything we can to keep our investigators working consistently. This includes securing new clients, maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, and delivering high-quality results that generate additional opportunities. Our goal is to minimize downtime and create as much stability as possible in an inherently variable industry. We genuinely value constructive feedback, as it helps us grow and improve. We love hearing that the culture we have created has been helpful and supportive.

Pros

The flexibility to work from home and have some say over your work hours is something that has kept me at the company. This is the benefit that I use to justify the cons.

Cons

The pay structure is way below averages for this line of work. Merit increases are considered annually, but have fallen far behind inflation thus far. PTO is less than what I've experienced in other similar positions. Ongoing training is sparse and seems to create time-intensive problems that would be more efficiently handled with regular training updates. The company makes no contributions to health insurance premiums, which for people like me, means that half my paycheck is gone before I see it just to cover premiums for myself and my son.
