Pros
I started working at Cosmitto as an intern in January 2018. At that time, the company was under different ownership and management. After a month there, the CEO left and we were left without a CEO until the current owners (one of them a former Account Director for the company) bought it in July 2018.
My experience here, overall, has been a positive one. Although there was a lot of turmoil during my internship due to the shift in management and roles and the overall sense of "we aren't sure what's coming next," I have nothing but good things to say about the current ownership and overall company.
Since July, the company culture has strengthened and our team now feels cohesive. Everyone is quick to help one another, and it makes coming to work every day enjoyable.
We have the opportunity to explore our interests, and we also have a say in the clients that we work with and the services we work in. When I initially came onto the team full-time, I was more of a writer than anything. Now, I am able to help in business development pursuits while also managing accounts and creating content on a regular basis.
Cons
Since the new owners bought the company, I can’t really think of any cons. As the nature of any agency, clients come and go, service orders change, and work gets reallocated—you just have to be flexible when it comes to working in digital marketing, especially for an agency (and one that is this small).
