Pros

Healthy Work-Life Balance: One of the standout features of working at Corning is the emphasis on maintaining a healthy work-life balance. The company understands the importance of allowing employees to recharge and prioritize their personal lives outside of work. Flexible scheduling options, remote work opportunities, and supportive management make it possible for employees to effectively manage their professional responsibilities while also enjoying their personal time. Incredible Company Culture: From day one, I've been amazed by the supportive and collaborative environment at Corning. The team here is not just coworkers, but a close-knit community that fosters positivity and teamwork. Everyone is genuinely invested in each other's success, which creates a fantastic atmosphere to work in.

Cons

Limited Opportunities for Advancement: While the company does offer growth opportunities, some employees may find advancement within the organization to be slower than desired. This could be due to factors such as organizational structure or limited positions available for promotion. However, I believe that with continued dedication and performance, individuals can still progress in their careers at Corning.

Pros

Great benefits: Day one health insurance, profit sharing, 401K and pension plan.

Cons

This location is a startup venture and has lots of details to work out to become more efficient and reliable. Advancement opportunities are very slow. Construction and infrastructure improvements are still in progress. There are a lot of PPE requirements due to the complexity and hazards on the job. The 12.25 work hours with shifting two weeks on day and two weeks on nights is very hard on the mind and body.
