Loved the 5/10/15 etc. year anniversary gift - a bonus of 2 weeks vacation that year. Pushes for breakthrough innovations. Average pay for industry.
Cons
Was part of smaller, remote organization. Didn't see any senior managers at corporate (Director, VP, etc.) who weren't born and bred Corning employees (25 years + with company) so opportunities for mid-career people transfers (into Corning) will get discouraged. Good corporate programs for work-life balance.
