Chaos. In my five years here, I've never received a comp plan before May. It gets later every year — last year, it didn’t arrive until July. I kept hoping the process would improve, but it hasn’t.
This year, we received only 70% of our commission from January through July. Several people didn’t receive any commission from August through October. That leaves only November and December with what are presumably accurate paychecks.
What’s worse, the sales reps I know who took the time to track their commission and push for corrections were laid off. One could argue they spent so much time fixing their pay that it detracted from their ability to sell.
