Pros

Great management staff that actually cares about your own success. A whole different teaching experience in the business world. Nothing that can be compared to what I learned back in school as a business major.

Cons

If you aren't willing to put 100% in your work it can be a challenge. Must have a strong work ethic

Pros

I've just finished my first 2 weeks there, it's a really good place to work. Everybody is super helpful and genuinely wants to see you grow as a person. Pay is also very good, it's preformance pay so you can make up to $1500 weekly paychecks! But don't fret because if you have a bad week there is still a $400/week safety net to compensate you for your time. Team nights are a lot of fun as well! Basically the entire office gets together and goes out and does something fun once a week after work as a team building strategy. My first team night we did archery tag and it was awesome! Finally, this might not be for everybody, but it's door to door marketing. You will be walking around outside in almost any weather condition knocking on doors. However we don't actually sell anything, you schedule appointments for people to get free no obligation estimates on exterior house work. You aren't tricking or lying to anybody, or trying to get them to whip out a wallet. You're just simply trying to promote a product and get it some recognition.

Cons

Hours are long. It's Monday-Friday 10am-8pm, but expect to work even longer than that at times. Most people get there around 9-9:30 and won't leave until 8:30-9. And Sunday it's a similar situation except it's 9am-5am with similar time variation. For me this isn't a problem but it's the main reason people quit. They expect these tight hours and plan their day around these times. The mindset there is basically "today is cornerstone. Nothing else." You have the option to work Sunday to try and make some more money. Some people might try to twist your arm to knock on doors Sunday to try and make some more money but you aren't forced to by any means. They just don't want to be alone. Be ready to buy solicitor permits. They are a necessity for this job. All permits last until December 31st of the year it's aquired but they can range anywhere from free to $500 per town, with the average permit being between $30-50. Cornerstone will pay you back if you hand in the receipt, but it can be annoying paying upfront for these at times. Also, if you have a heavy criminal record, you might not pass the background checks that go with the permits. So this might not be for you. Finally, the head owner of the entire building is by far the worst/best motivational speaker I've ever heard in my life. He will make the entire room feel like absolute garbage and somehow you leave the room feeling a lot more pumped up. He curses like a sailor, but that's okay. I think it's part of the act. You can tell you does care a lot about everyone in the room but he is a extremely competitive. He HATES losing to other offices. And he will let you know that every single day.

Pros

I loved the people. From day one the energy was incredible and I knew it was going to be a great experience. It was such a refreshment walking into a work place where people actually cared about their jobs and what they were doing. This experience gave me communication skills and a positive mindset that I can take with me forever.

Cons

Long hours. I think it is worth it depending on what you want out of it. It was satisfying seeing a reward in the hours that you did put in.
