Pros

- Culture - Highest concentration of genuinely great people. Company and employees live the culture... It's not just something on the wall and in promotional materials. - Corporate Training Opportunities - Internal university of in-person development academies and self-guided training resources. Modules are available for most positions, systems, departments, products, etc. - Decentralized organization - branch and district operations run their own business to deliver local service with nationwide support. - Growth focus. Strong investment to grow organically from within and inorganically via acquisition. - Critical to the national infrastructure and health (clean water supply and wastewater management) - Company matching 401k program and new ESPP (employee stock purchase plan) - Focus on family values, mental health and well-being. - Sales are a relationship-based and service is our value and differentiator. - Inventory and vendor support. - Many more

Cons

- Advancement doesn't happen on it's own. May be too unstructured for some. Promotion is applied for and earned... not granted by entitlement due to seniority or tenure. - Medical insurance benefits are poor in several locations around the country. Two choices are available and selecting the correct one for your local area is critical. Otherwise it will be pure frustration.

Pros

This is a very human place. People are generous with support and consistently demonstrate a connection to each other. The mission of the organization is one that everyone can relate to. Highly recommend.

Cons

We are very distributed based on number of locations. We are still connected but I'd like to be able to connect with more people in person.

Pros

The work hours make for a good work/home life balance. Employees at all levels are usually willing to help one another. Fairly good job security.

Cons

Pretty meager health benefits for such a large company. Base pay that will never be competitive. The sense of feeling you’re expected to do the job of 2 1/2 people for the pay of one. Management gives you the sense that we’re just barely getting by financially at all times.
