Pros

There aren't any pros to this company at all.

Cons

This company is a 10+ Billion Dollar company would takes away the standard IRS mileage rate for individuals who travel and utilize their own cars from the .53 cents a mile down to 0.09 cents a mile. Accordingly, in the IRS Notice 2016-79, section 3, it states the following: "The standard mileage rate for transportation or travel expenses is 53.5 cents per mile for all miles of business use (business standard mileage rate). See section 4 of Rev. Proc. 2010-51." Also Section 4 states the following: "For automobiles a taxpayer uses for business purposes, the portion of the business standard mileage rate treated as depreciation is 23 cents per mile for 2013, 22 cents per mile for 2014, 24 cents per mile for 2015, 24 cents per mile for 2016, and 25 cents per mile for 2017." In addition to not using the IRS table, we are expected to use our own cars, because Core Mark felt that the needed to get rid of the company cars, because it was costing too much money to repair them. Well what about my car? We are not offered any kind of reimbursements or incentives for using our own cars and the wear and tear of the extensive traveling that we do to set up convenience stores with merchandise. I travel from Oxford, down to Louisiana, over to Arkansas, into Tennessee, back down to Louisiana in one week. Do the math...it doesn't add up and I am the one that looses money, not the company.
