Pros
The benefits are pretty decent. You get a CVS discount too.
Cons
Training for the PAR position is bad. Really bad. With the amount of work you have to do, the training is skimp. You’re literally babysitting for the sales people and the pharmacist. I’m sorry but sitting and watching an already overworked PAR for training is just not going to cut it. Not with the amount of work that is piled onto you. Then when they throw you to the wolves, when you ask for help, or have a question, you get catty attitude. Huffing and puffing because you have a question. Professionalism is bad here. For the amount of work you are expected to do, the pay isn’t that great. You only get a half hour lunch. I’ve also seen some of the PARs gossiping about others on the IM. It’s highschool with people that are 25+ Not worth it!
