Pros

Some great people are still there…but they’re keeping their heads down and hanging on in a horrible environment.

Cons

The owner and CEO are two of the most toxic men I have ever had to work for. The CEO especially likes to ‘rule’ with fear which is likely a side effect of his own personal short comings. Neither understand how to run a business. They were both handed a successful brand staffed by talented individuals and it suffered. In 2022 alone most senior staff who had contributed to the brands success and growth resigned or were fired for speaking up on behalf of colleagues or the brand. The WORST part is that this culture has crippled the entire management team. They don’t speak up. They aren’t championing better treatment for their employees. They’re just stressed and trying to save their own skin. They’ll let the guy next to them burn so they can keep their job. It’s really awful. The heart of Coolibar is gone. It honesty looks like the owner sent in a guy to dismantle everything so he can sell it to someone who will scrap Coolibar for parts. Hot tip: do NOT work for Mott50 or SunTect either. Both are also overseen by these men. SunTect has the added bonus of being run by another individual with no business sense and horrible people skills.

Pros

Honestly not many pros come to mind

Cons

Where to begin. The chief brand officer is not bright and terrible at his job. HR is a one woman show who also runs the customer care department with no certification. The girls spend most of their time talking about their co workers and complaining. If you try to just stay quiet and not suck up to the chiefs you get fired. The “leadership” is a bad joke. You have maybe 2 people that come from apparel and they are treated like they don’t know what they are doing. It’s like working in the twilight zone. The direction changes every other month. It’s traumatic and abusive and one of these days they will get sued. The chief expects you to attend his little events that just waste money on the weekends and if you don’t want to go you are punished/let go. They love to play the blame game but in reality the chief Sebastian is running the company into the ground and quickly.
