Pros
Ever since I learned about Context Partners, I knew I wanted to join the team. I've always been drawn to impactful work, but really didn't see myself in the nonprofit world. CP, using design thinking methodology to help build communities, represented the intersection between purpose and profit that truly appealed to me. I've been with CP for over a year now and I have grown and learned so much. This community of designers, innovators, and problem solvers is inspirational and passionate. The projects are interesting and offer varied learning experiences. I also love the opportunity to travel to different contexts, both international and domestic, to help implement the strategies that we design for our clients.
Cons
An interesting part of being in a company that is five years old is that you get to play a pivotal role in the creation of processes while utilizing the resources of an established organization. When I joined the team, not all of the processes were fully fleshed out, which was the primary pain point experience.
