At Connexus Energy we strive to foster an environment of continuous learning, and we support employees in their development. After our January Employee Meeting, all employees were invited to join a new Growth and Development Team to explore ways we can improve in this area.
Presently, development and growth can occur in several ways: 1) learning new skills to get better in the current role or to prepare for a future role, 2) leading or participating on a committee or project team, 3) expanding formal education, and 4) applying for other internal opportunities. Employees and leaders have annual goal setting and development planning discussions, and they also meet periodically throughout the year. If an employee is not satisfied with the level of support of their direct leader, they can talk to their manager or Employee Services.
