Pros
I get to work with some great people, the work environment is pretty casual, and the hours are somewhat flexible.
Cons
This company has a history of not treating its employees well and putting shareholders first. Just this year alone: 1) Bonuses were even lower than last year (mine was less than 40% of what set as an expectation when hired), nonexistent for others. 2) Nationwide office relocations are announced to cheaper locations that are no longer downtown and far out of the way for some who commute. 3) No pay raises. 3) The 401k plan has cut benefits by over 40%: match amounts have been reduced from 5% biweekly to 3% annually. From what I've heard, more drastic cuts to benefits are expected soon. The CEO uses empty words about "investing in the people" while announcing goals to cut $400 million this year alone.
