Pros

The employees are a wonderful diverse group of people and you can be yourself at work.

Cons

smoke and mirrors and false promises. They tell you that you will have special accommodations for trimet riders but in reality they are just given you the bottom of the barrel shifts no one else wanted. Training is classroom style and consists of some of the most basic and mind numbing material I have ever encountered. This is a tech position but one module was literally "what is an email address" The job itself is like any other call center, the customers are simply that. I had wonderful interactions on the phone. They will let people go for the dumbest things and you employment is contingent on passing a final exam with a high percentile or you are forced to retest. After that you are fired for not passing the test even if you have already shown you can do the job fully. Several questions I found to be actually programmed with incorrect answers as I fully researched them and found the answers but still got marked wrong. They hire nearly anyone with a pulse and as such the training environment feels unprofessional and like high school. Walking into this place doesn't feel like coming to work AT ALL. The worst offender is they screwed up 90% of our first paychecks and simply said we will pay you next check, second check I literally was shorted 200 bucks. So in 1 month we have two botched paychecks. There is a lot more I can say but I am getting angry typing this as i actually LIKED the job itself. I need to work somewhere that will pay its employees in a timely and legal manner and make good with their promises.

Pros

Paid on time, provided equipment, decent benefits from day one, nice co-workers

Cons

Sweatshop mentality of the supervisors, threats of demotion/termination for medical leave, random layoffs when calls didn't justify hours, with those same hours shifted to supervisors to keep them active. Unable to print paystubs, had to request everything through a supervisor, and provide copious amounts of private information to have the request honored. Corrosive environment - I left as soon as I got another offer, gave 24 hours notice (and I've never, ever done that before). Unless you're on the verge of homelessness or starvation, avoid at all costs.
