I’ve been with the company for quite a while now, currently working in Operations and Management, and honestly, it’s been frustrating.
Over time, my role has expanded way beyond operations. Other than operations, I also do hiring, supporting higher management with admin tasks, and basically wearing multiple hats on a daily basis. The workload keeps growing, but the recognition and compensation don’t match.
No 13th month pay nor performance bonus and that’s really disappointing, especially considering the amount of work and responsibility I carry. It doesn’t feel aligned with the effort being put in.
What’s even more discouraging is knowing that there are people earning more, even when I know I’m doing more or taking on bigger responsibilities. It makes me question how the company really values its employees.
Given the workload and contributions, I genuinely feel like I should have been promoted by now but that hasn’t happened. In fact it was supposed to happen but for some odd reason, it didn’t push through. On top of that, support from management is lacking, which makes things even harder.
Overall, it just feels like no matter how much I give, it’s never enough. I’m never valued as an employee with a very critical role in the company.
