Pros

You get great transparency from the Leadership team. Even though the position is remote, the company culture is very inviting and employee oriented. Salary and benefits are competitive.

Cons

Cannot think of any cons.

Pros

Great benefits, fully paid healthcare, good 401k matching, health and wellness is a priority. Embedded analysts don’t work closely with the company except for our contract managers, but these managers are helpful and attentive to any issues we may have with concentric or the company we are embedded with.

Cons

Experience on the job depends entirely on the client, and some can treat contracted employees poorly.

Pros

Those in management positions go out of their way to help you develop professionally. They frequently ask for feedback about how they can best support embedded employees.

Cons

The pay is low, and they rely 100% on the client to give you a raise. So even if you're a top performer, Concentric is unwilling to go into its own pocket even a little to pay you appropriately. They also revoked a $50 per month phone stipend two weeks before the holidays. It's not a lot of money, but it's certainly the opposite of saying "thank you" to your employees. The right (and smart) thing would have been to tell people in advance and revoke the stipend in January. To top it off, they sent out a Glassdoor survey a few days after we found out about the phone stipend. I've never worked in HR or employee relations, but even I can see the lack of strategic thinking there.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We genuinely value your input and appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns. Compensation Transparency At Concentric, we are committed to clear and transparent communication about compensation. Pay ranges for embedded roles are determined collaboratively, taking into account both client budgets and operational realities. While we work to advocate for competitive compensation and explore every opportunity for increases, there are instances where external and internal constraints make this challenging. That said, Concentric has, in the past, absorbed additional costs to support employees whenever possible. Phone Stipend The $50 phone stipend was initially introduced during the pandemic to assist employees working remotely. As we and the client transitioned back to an office-based environment starting January 3, 2025, it was determined that continuing the stipend was no longer sustainable. We understand that the timing of this notification—particularly during the holidays—may have felt abrupt, and we take this feedback to heart as we work to improve how we communicate such changes in the future. Performance and Pay Increases We recognize how important performance-based increases are to our employees. For embedded positions, these decisions are influenced by both client budgets and internal considerations. While we always strive to reward strong performance and seek opportunities for growth, we acknowledge that certain limitations exist and will continue working to support our employees as best as we can. We regret that this experience left you feeling dissatisfied and are always open to further conversations to ensure you feel heard. Please feel free to reach out to us directly to discuss your concerns further. Thank you again for sharing your perspective. Your feedback helps us improve as we remain committed to supporting our team members. The Concentric Team
