Pros
Most of the people at Comtech (CMDC) are friendly. We all worked together for many years and it has been stressful the that government chose an inferior SATCOM product over ours. Amazingly talented engineers on staff. Truly brilliant networking technology like broadcast addressing scheme and advanced signal processing.
Cons
CMDC does not have a solid business development team. Internal politics stifle creativity and proactivity. No rhyme or reason to business decisions. Major internal funding problems - parent corp Comtech Telecommunications hogs all the cash (currently $500M). Amazing technologies not being used or marketed because business development is just too disorganized.
