Pros

Fully remote, some co-workers can be fun to work with.

Cons

Where to begin? Since the company's acquisition of three other companies, it has been a steady downhill trend. Senior leaders and C-level employees have large egos that you must stroke if you want to survive. Other reviews on here have left me disturbed and although I cannot personally vouch for all of them, they fit the vibe and experiences I encountered. Anyone with transferable skills is looking for an exit as quickly as possible. The benefits are horrible and are being systematically removed to "save costs". If you try and voice an opinion contrary to leadership, you will be labeled with a "negative attitude" and put on a list to be disappeared. There are many issues with leadership and the message they put out. The most egregious action being the removal of the 401k match and communication by the CEO that if you don't like it, quit. They create unattainable financial goals for the year, then when sales is unable to reach unattainable goals everyone except leadership is punished. Comply keeps adding C-level employees while simultaneously laying off normal employees. They will disappear people if they determine you "are not necessary anymore". There is no product ownership, while simultaneously producing products that compete directly with already existing Comply offerings. Clients will be unhappy with one product and cancel, sign up for a different service, only to discover that the new service utilizes the product they just canceled. If coworkers are upset with you, they will just ghost you and not respond to your messages. There is constant communication about professionalism when emotion is driving a lot of decisions. This results in an employee populace that is scared, and Mariana Trench level morale, constantly waiting for the next shoe to drop.

Pros

Remote work is the only good thing here

Cons

Everything is terrible. Terrible management. No directions meaning constantly switching projects. Management doesn’t care about employees at all. It’s a corporate war in there. Constantly laying off good people and stretching team super thin. While asking you to do more. Unlimited PTO is a scam. Managers will make you feel terrible for taking a week off. No mentorship and constant blame game from management because they know they are doing terrible so they just keep blaming the people at the bottom of the chain. Can’t focus on what we are good at. Small to mid size firm. They are chasing the enterprise firms but they’ll hit a real wall when they will realize their product is not built for them. They are just successful because financial firms need this to stay compliant. Pay is awful. You’ll never get a raise or promotion since leadership is always down playing your achievements and don’t give clear guidelines on what their expectations are.
