Good amount of PTO from the beginning.

When starting at the company I, along with many of my colleagues, were promised opportunities to grow in the company since the company was growing. Those opportunities were never presented to any of us even when we requested information about possible opportunities. When the company was bought out, we were again told that the company would have many opportunities to grow and our jobs were secure. Instead of fulfilling the promises they kept opportunities from us and eventually laid us all off. Management knew with many months planning that they would be closing the office. Instead of informing the employees of the closure (like they request employees to give 2 weeks notice before quitting), they waited until the day of the closing when management arrived to let everyone know they were laid off. The company didn't even want to pay out the accrued vacation time the employees had saved even though management requested that the employees not use the time during the months leading up to closing to "help the company during the busy season".
