- Compassus feels very corporate with policies, procedures and overall execution of those. Myself and many colleagues didn’t trust leadership as they seemed like “corporate robots” we had to prove ourselves to on paper. As I said in my headline, it’s a top-heavy organization.
- High-drama and gossip environment
- Money and metrics fell at the forefront, seemingly above patient care. I did this work until it felt wrong to even promote Compassus any further. I lost the passion and drive and didn’t trust the care I was “promising” families and facilities we could provide.
- Compassus seems to operate based on what’s convenient for them and their bottom line. They will let people go at the drop of a hat if it’s in their own best interest.
- Numerous times I felt my colleagues were treated as numbers and unfairly. If I spoke up, I feel I’d be the next person let go.
- Short-staffed clinically, constant turnover, lack of true appreciation from organizational leadership. Their actions rarely spoke as loud as their words.
- I was sick often in my time with the company. Now that I left, I feel it was due to constant stress and chaos. A weight lifted when I moved on to a new healthcare organization.
