Pros

Flight Benefits are the only pros for this job. If you want to grow as a flight attendant this is not the company. Get the job, use the flight benefits and apply for other companies to be a flight attendant (i.e United) and leave. While you are going through training keep in mind CommutAir is just a stepping stone. As soon as you can GET OUT! Applying for mainline, or other airlines like United, American, Delta etc takes some time because of the number of applications they receive, so coming here in the meantime is not a bad idea. However GET OUT ASAP! New contract being negotiated in December 2018 with United Main Line

Cons

Inflight trainers during ground school were hard to work with (Not all) we all love Beth! However Sam & Que are like immature bullies. It makes it hard to seek a future with this company when you are treated less than straight out the bat. The thing is they really do not care, there is no assessment giving about your experience in ground school so they do what they please and get away with it. You are paid very low wage ($17.33 as of 9/11/18) Inflight management takes no accountability when it comes to new flight attendants.

Pros

Small company, very family oriented. Overall good work environment. You'll move up in senrioity pretty quickly. Usually get like 12-17 days off a month with a pay gurantee (only 75hrs). You would be the only flight attendant, if you do like working alone. Lots of opportunities for career growth within the company.

Cons

Horrible routes/overnights. The "cooler" overnights are usually at crappy hotels really far out from the city. Most of the overnights are minimum rest. Again, you are the only flight attendant so if you don't get along with the pilots the trip might feel longer. Crappy pay. Only two bases. People usually don't stay long.
