Pros

Hard work is noticed and rewarded and great opportunities for those seeking career development. Staff forums and consistent webinars ensure senior management are constantly in touch & listening to front line colleagues.

Cons

Pay unfortunately does not reflect the work carried in the sector in general however the senior management are striving to ensure they invest in staff as much as possible.

Pros

Working with the clients. Improved my skills in communication and advocacy. Mostly flexible schedule. Overall meaningful job.

Cons

Wasn't transparent about the commute (like having to attend training 90+ minutes from home) Last minute schedule changes (like the night before). Very inconsistent scheduling. Checks were sometimes sent in the mail. Minimal benefits for part time. Can lead to burnout and fatigue not addressed by managers.
