Pros
Some staff that actually cares, this include upper management, support staff, and managerial staff. Many different sites are different and ran differently by each Program Director. Some PD and APD are very caring and work to support Support Staff. Upper Management allows for PD's to have flexibility with running their sites, which allows PD's the opportunity to better support individual support on site staff. Another good thing, there is many different site locations (for transitional and supportive housing), in the Bronx, Manhattan, and Brooklyn. Most sites are in the Bronx and Manhattan.
Cons
Some staff are sh*t, including all staff. The fact that the main office allows Program Director's flexibility with running there sites is also a con. Some PD's are not all the good and unreasonable. A lot of staff, especially those working in the Community Residence programs (transitional housing), are overworked and underpaid. The Bronx sites also have more complicated caseloads for case management and are understaffed and underpaid. If more competent staff was available the caseload would be properly distribute.
