Corporate administration is not supportive, nor do they have empathy for frontline workers. They have made many cuts across the board that have negatively impacted every employee in the Centura system. They do not try to learn what it is like to be in patient care right now, and many of them have never set foot in this hospital. Local management has been asked to take on more responsibilities and is over-worked, underpaid, and burnt out. The atmosphere is less-supportive and more toxic than it was in the middle COVID, and it's being felt in every unit of the hospital.
