Pros
Executive leaders and mid-level managers genuinely care about employees- personally and professionally. In my experience, professional growth is encouraged/supported as leaders take time to learn about your background and also ask what you are interested in doing in an effort to promote engagement and happiness. They also provide all (CommonSpirit, CHI, and Dignity Health) employees with free care credits through the Care Program to support those of us with small children and dependent family members. We are also encouraged to take time off and simply "reset", which is an idea I have not experienced in previous organizations. Leaders are transparent in their goals and feedback and encourage the same from employees. Their doors are usually open and they will always make time to hear your voice.
Cons
While leaders are transparent, communication can tend to become siloed, but that is to be expected as you transition an organization of our size to a more synergistic model.
