Pros

Keurig coffee maker. Most employee were friendly and working to their best abilities while in a poor work environment.

Cons

Managers lie to the directors about employees to protect themselves. Back stabbing. Inappropriate behavior from owner. Owner demands systems work at peak performance while not allowing for sufficient hardware and software upgrades to do so.

Pros

Thanks to Uncle Same, I was only at the company for 2 quick months. I learned so much about the industry in such little time. If you are a person who is either in love with real estate or has a strong desire to learn, this is the company. I worked along side the President everyday helping him scope out real estate opportunities and he really taught me a lot. There is hardly any micromanaging. I was used to a job where I would be micromanaged on everything so to not have to deal with that was the best feeling - you get treated like an adult.

Cons

The company uses wrike, which is a great way to communicate with other employees and track projects, but I feel it takes too much time putting in tasks and whatnot. As much as I loved not being micromanaged, there were times when guidance could be helpful but everyone can be so busy sometimes it would be hard to reach them when they were not on the phone.

Pros

Helped my reaction time (always on edge)

Cons

No peace in your job. You never know when you will be berated. Very little coaching from very top management. Only insults and cornered arguments. He is the kind of man that will plan his attack on you, allowing you no time to prepare rebuttals. I think an un-thwarted verbal attack may be the only thing that excites him more than making money. If you have a strong interest in working for a guy that sues not for profit agencies, a man that seems to only hold onto employees that have no spouses or children, and a man that turns over and hires an approximate staff of 14 yearly, you should work at Commerce Group.
