Pros
- The product has traction but there's still a lot to do; I feel like my contributions have an outsized impact - Founders and sales team give us a lot of visibility into deals. This keeps the whole team in touch with how the product is being received by customers - Amazing teammates who are smart, curious, and collaborative. I know I can rely on my teammates to work with urgency, challenge my assumptions, and bring new perspectives to any decision.
Cons
At a startup, we are constantly learning and adapting to how our products are received and what our customers are asking for; we find new ways to deliver value, sometimes by expanding our product offering. We started small, with a product called "Bar", and we have since expanded into adjacent products (user on-boarding and support, AI-based user assistance, etc.). It's been fun to work on new products, but I find myself missing the thing that brought me to CommandBar in the first place -- working on a command pallet that turns novices into power users. However; this is what I signed up for and I'm excited to be on a journey of discovery with the team! I'm glad we are able to adapt our offering to focus on the parts which are really resonating with our customers.
