Pros
Very pleasant office staff, reception, HR personnel Accessible location in Northern suburb of Chgo Some schedulers are approachable and a pleasure to work with, others are clearly ones to avoid if your want fair treatment Got paid on time, as agreed
Cons
Schedulers are desperate to rope in caregivers. Comfortkeepers personnel do not interview their clients before sending over a caregiver. They do not match a client's personality with that of the caregiver. They push 'a square peg into a round hole' and then don't support you. If you work with private pay clients, your job will go better for you. If you work a client from a social services agency, you're gonna be mishandled and the experience will be full of surprises, none of which they will prepare you for. Example: they send you out to a client who smokes. They did not tell you that client is a smoker. Once you're there, and you want the money, you're gonna stay and inhale secondhand smoke during your shift. You need very strong personal boundaries to deal with this office. They will push you and manipulate and not take you at your word.
